This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Kera website and early-access services (the “Service”). Kera is private by design: we do not sell your personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising.

2. What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, and any message or details you choose to include, along with the type of enquiry (early-access signup, partner, investor, or careers).
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running.
- Preferences stored on your device. We store your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where we use analytics, we use privacy-respecting, aggregate measurement only.
3. How we use your data
- to respond to your enquiry and to provide early access to Kera;
- to send you updates about Kera where you have asked us to (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- to comply with our legal obligations.
Our legal bases for processing are your consent (for marketing emails and optional details), our legitimate interests in responding to you and running the Service securely, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under agreements that require them to protect it:
- Resend — to deliver our emails and to store early-access signups as contacts;
- Vercel — to host and serve the website.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside Georgia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses) to protect it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as needed to respond to you, to run the early-access programme, and to meet our legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your data or unsubscribe, we will remove it from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The website and its forms are intended for adults. Where Kera supports household members who are minors, their access is set up and controlled by an eligible adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this website.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you.
