Every home deserves a system that works for it.
Kera started with a simple, stubborn belief: the person who carries the household in their head deserves an AI agent that carries it with them — one you can just talk to, that works for the family, not a store.
Why we started
Running a home is a hundred tiny money decisions a month — what to buy, who approves it, what it costs — and no software ever treated it as one system. It sliced it into a list app here, a budgeting app there, a card for the kids, a way to split the bill. The household operator did the integration by hand, in their head, every single day.
We think that job should belong to a system that’s loyal to the household. So we’re building an AI agent that runs the whole loop — capture, approve, buy, restock, reconcile — in one calm place, and answers by voice when you ask. That’s Kera.
We ship the hard parts, fast.
Live across iOS, Android, and the web — and moving at a pace that is itself the point.
Investors and operators who’ve built consumer, fintech, and family products.
A small, senior team building in the open.
A dozen people across product, engineering, design, and operations — with a shared allergy to the invisible work of running a home.
Loyal to the household
We work for the people who use Kera — never for a store, never for the highest bidder.
Calm under money stress
Money is stressful enough. The product should feel like relief, not another alarm.
Ship the hard parts
We build the parts that compound — the ones that are hard, and that competitors can’t shortcut.
Private by default
Your data is never the product. Trust is the foundation, not a feature we bolt on.
We’re hiring.
