This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from Kera (Android package app.aikera, web app at aikera.app), published by SPIN LLC. You can do it yourself in the app, or ask us by email.
1. Delete your account in the app
Open Kera and go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my data, then confirm. Here is what happens:
- Straight away: your account is deactivated and you are signed out on every device.
- 30-day grace period: if you change your mind, sign back in within 30 days and the deletion is cancelled. Nothing is lost.
- After 30 days: your personal data is erased automatically. You don’t need to do anything else.
If you are the only Admin of a household, Kera asks you to hand the Admin role to another member, or to delete the household, before your account is deleted.
2. What we delete
When the 30 days are up, we:
- replace your email address, display name and password with meaningless placeholders, so the account can’t be used or linked to you;
- delete your push-notification tokens, notification settings, and password-reset and email-change links;
- delete your conversations with the Kera assistant, including voice-call transcripts;
- delete the photos, voice notes and item pictures you uploaded, including the stored files;
- delete your comments and reactions;
- delete the shopping preferences you wrote and preferences about you, including allergy and dietary notes;
- delete the wishes you created;
- remove your user ID from our usage data, and your name and email from our staff audit log.
3. What we keep, anonymised, and why
- Shared household records. Records the other members of your household rely on — list items, purchases, budgets and settle-up entries — stay with the household so their history and totals stay correct. After erasure they show as added or bought by “Removed member” and are no longer linked to you.
- Backups, briefly. Erased data can remain in our database provider’s backups for up to 30 days until they are overwritten. We never restore it.
- The legal minimum. We may keep specific data longer only where the law requires it, for example to handle a dispute or comply with a legal order.
4. Deleting a whole household
A household Admin can delete the household in the app. The household is deleted 30 days later; until then an Admin can cancel. Deletion removes the household and everything in it — lists, purchases, budgets, money tracking, recurring items and shared wishes — for all its members. Members’ own accounts are not deleted. When a household has no active members left, we delete it and its content within 30 days.
5. Ask us by email
If you can’t use the app, email us from the address your account is registered to, so we can check the request really comes from you:
Or write to hello@spin.ge with the subject “Kera — account and data deletion request” and include the email address on the account. We reply within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. There is no charge.

Deleting your child’s profile
If you added your child to your household as a child profile, you can delete it yourself: in the app, go to House → Children → your child → Privacy & controls and withdraw consent. Your child is signed out at once and the profile and their data are erased within 30 days. From the same screen you can also see, download or delete what your child added. You can also email hello@spin.ge (subject “Child privacy”) or call +1 908 742 4951. If you are your child’s last parent or guardian with a Kera account, deleting your own account also erases your child’s profile. Details are in our Children’s Privacy Notice.
