Connect Kera to Claude and ask about your household in plain words: what’s on the shopping list, how much budget is left, what you paid for something before, and which requests are waiting for you. Kera is made by SPIN LLC.
What Claude can do with Kera
- See what’s on your household’s shopping list, and what was bought recently.
- Add items to the list. Kera checks for a similar item first, so the same thing isn’t added twice.
- Save something you’d like to your Kera wishlist, with a product link or a target price.
- Check how much is left in this period’s budget, for the whole household or one category, and see recent spending.
- Look up what your household paid for an item before (your own purchases, not web prices).
- If you approve purchases in your household and allowed it when connecting: see the requests waiting for you, and approve or decline them. Claude asks you before it does.
Before you start

Things to ask
- “What’s on our Kera shopping list?”
- “Add eggs and oat milk to our Kera list.”
- “How much budget do we have left this month, and how much is left for groceries?”
- “What did we spend in the last 30 days, and what have we paid for coffee beans before?”
- “Save a stand mixer to my Kera wishlist with a target price of $250.”
- “What’s waiting for my approval in Kera?”
What Kera doesn’t do
- Kera doesn’t buy anything or take payments. Approving a request marks it ready to buy; someone in the household still buys it.
- It works on one household at a time: the one you chose when you connected.
- A child’s requests are never shared with Claude. They show only as “an item a child asked for” and can be answered only in the Kera app.
- If your role in the household is Requester, budgets, spending and prices aren’t shared, just as in the Kera app.
- There’s no way to delete items from Claude; do that in the Kera app.
Disconnect
In the Kera app, go to Settings → Privacy → Connected apps and choose Disconnect, or remove Kera in Claude’s Settings → Connectors.
